Because birthdays repeat every year, the calculator automatically determines whether the selected birthday has already occurred during the current year. If it has, the countdown targets the birthday in the following year.
How to Use the Birthday Countdown

How the Birthday Countdown Works
The countdown compares the current date and time with the next occurrence of the selected birthday. Since a birthday is an annual event, the selected month and day are used to determine the next target date.
If this year's birthday is still ahead, the countdown uses the current year's date. If this year's birthday has already passed, the countdown uses the same month and day in the following year.
